Studio Project – Charter School pt.2

The primary education spaces are grouped by grade level around teaching gardens. These classrooms are then organized so that the circulation forms many different circular paths. This way the circulation becomes part of the play experience, this multi-functionality allows the school to be more open than the small site would typically allow. The linear aspect of the form is derived from the intersection of the two local street grids. This led to a bent L shape design language that was used throughout the project.
